The story

Why Quarry Nodes exists

Quarry Nodes began in 2022 with one validator in a cupboard in a Warsaw flat, which went offline every time the building cut the power for repairs. The founders moved it to a data centre, wrote the monitoring they wished they had, and friends started asking them to run their nodes too.

The round 2 grant paid for that monitoring, for failover between two data centres and for playbooks any operator can reuse. Quarry now runs 31 validators in 9 countries, and a round 6 grant of $95,000 is paying for one-click validator setup.
